Choosing green and sage wallpaper

Where it works

Green sits behind wood, brass and most other colours without argument, which is why it has rebounded in living rooms and bedrooms. Olive Ogee, soft-edged waves on chalky stone, and Gold Rain, its gold dashes falling down bottle green, are repeats for a living room, a study or a hallway. The forest murals, Hidden Firs, Rain Ridge seen from above, Low Cloud and Emerald Fog, are for a bedroom wall or a stairwell. Blossom River and Stone Statue, pastel garden scenes, suit a dining room you approach from one end.

Picking between the designs

Sage, olive, emerald or forest. Sage and olive: Olive Ogee, Petal Tiles, Pale Jungle, Silk Ribbon. Emerald and teal: Emerald Fog, Deep Pines, Foam Crest. Rain Ridge and Low Cloud look straight down on the canopy, so there is no horizon to level and nothing to centre, the most forgiving murals in the collection for a wall with a door in it.
