Wallpaper Visualizer

See wallpaper in your room before you buy it. Upload a photo, drag the corners to your wall, and the pattern lands to scale in the light you already have.

Runs entirely in your browser. Your photo is never uploaded.

Drag the four handles to the corners of your wall, skirting up to ceiling. Drag inside the shape to move it whole. Set your real wall size and the repeat scales true to life.

What a wallpaper visualizer does

A wallpaper visualizer puts a pattern on your wall instead of a showroom’s. Some brands call it a room previewer, or a “see it on your wall” tool. Whatever the name, the job is the same: you upload a photo, mark where the wall is, and the repeat gets drawn over it in perspective. It’s sized from the measurements you type in and shaded by whatever light is already in the room.

Here’s the part that matters when you’re trying wallpaper before you buy. The pattern on screen is the real printed artwork, tiled the way it ships. No AI redraws it. So the thing that talks you into it is the thing that turns up on the roll.

How to preview wallpaper in your room

  1. Upload a photo of the room, or tap “try the demo room” to test with ours.
  2. Pick a wallpaper from the swatches, or search all 132 designs by name.
  3. Drag the four corners onto your wall. The pattern bends into perspective and sits behind your furniture.
  4. Set your wall size so the repeat shows true to scale, then save or share the view.

Getting a photo that previews well

  • Shoot square-on. Face the wall, hold the phone level. A gentle angle reads truer than a sharp one.
  • Use daylight. Soft natural light keeps the colours true. Lamps are fine too; your real shadows come through either way.
  • Get the whole wall in. Corner to corner, floor to ceiling, so the handles have something to grab onto.
  • Measure once. Run a tape measure over the wall’s width and height and the repeat comes out life-size.

Two things worth knowing

First, the tool finds your wall on its own, so sofas, frames and lamps stay in front of the paper. If it misses something, untick Furniture stays in front and it’ll cover the whole rectangle instead. Second, screens vary. The colours here track the artwork files closely, but when you’re matching a real colour, order a sample and hold it up to the wall. Nothing beats seeing it in the room.

Is this a wallpaper AR app?

Same idea, minus the app and the camera. You still get to see wallpaper in your room before you buy. Instead of live AR, you upload a photo of the wall and the pattern gets mapped onto it in perspective and to scale. It runs in any browser, on your phone or your laptop, and there’s nothing to install.

Is my room photo uploaded anywhere?

No. It all happens in your browser, on your device. The photo never gets sent to a server, saved, or handed to anyone. Close the tab and it’s gone for good.

How accurate is the scale?

As accurate as the numbers you give it. Type in your wall’s real width and height, and the repeat is sized from the pattern’s actual 19-inch repeat, so the density on screen matches what goes up. Skip the measuring and it assumes a typical 12 by 8 foot wall.

How does it keep furniture in front of the paper?

When your photo loads, a small vision model runs right on your device and works out which pixels are wall and which are furniture, art, doors or windows. Paper only lands on the wall. This all happens in the browser, so again, the photo stays with you. If it gets something wrong, untick Furniture stays in front and it’ll cover the full rectangle.

Can I preview my own artwork instead?

Yes. Hit “Upload a tile” under the swatches and load any seamless tile you’ve got. Not sure it repeats cleanly? Run it through our Seamless Pattern Checker first.

What photo works best?

A level, straight-on shot of the whole wall in even light. JPG, PNG or WEBP all work. Angled photos are fine as well, since the corner handles sort out the perspective, but the flatter you shoot, the better it comes out.
