Why We Started

We built State of the Wall after constantly running into the same issues—uninspired designs, inconsistent quality, and wallpaper that either felt too generic or too niche to actually live with. So we set out to do it differently.

Our collections feature licensed designs from some of the most talented pattern-makers and artists out there. While we’re not claiming exclusivity, we do take our time choosing pieces with personality and staying power—prints that can transform a space without trying too hard.
