Drag the four handles to the corners of your wall — skirting to ceiling. Drag inside the shape to move it whole. Set your real wall size and the repeat scales true to life.

What a wallpaper visualizer does

A wallpaper room visualizer shows a pattern on your wall, not a showroom’s. You upload a photo, mark the wall, and the repeat is drawn over it in perspective — sized from your real wall measurements, shaded by the light that’s actually in the room.

The pattern you see is the actual printed artwork, tiled exactly as it ships. Nothing is redrawn or reimagined, so what convinces you on screen is what arrives on the roll.

Getting a photo that previews well

  • Shoot square-on. Stand facing the wall, phone level. The less extreme the angle, the truer the preview.
  • Use daylight. Even, natural light keeps colours honest. Lamps are fine — the preview keeps your real shadows either way.
  • Get the whole wall in. Corner to corner, floor to ceiling, so the handles have something to grab.
  • Measure once. A quick tape measure of the wall’s width and height makes the repeat true to scale.

Reading the preview honestly

Two things to know. First, the tool detects your wall automatically, so sofas, frames and lamps stay in front of the paper — if the detection misses something you can untick Furniture stays in front and it papers the whole rectangle instead. Second, screens differ: colours here are faithful to the artwork files, but for final colour matching nothing beats a printed sample on your actual wall.

Is my room photo uploaded anywhere?

No. The photo is read and rendered entirely in your browser using your device. It is never sent to a server, stored, or shared. Close the tab and it’s gone.

How accurate is the scale?

As accurate as your measurements. Enter the wall’s real width and height and the repeat is sized from the pattern’s true printed repeat width, so the motif density you see matches what hangs. If you skip measuring, the defaults assume a typical 12×8 ft wall.

How does it keep furniture in front of the paper?

When your photo loads, a small vision model runs on your device and maps which pixels are wall and which are furniture, art, doors or windows. The pattern is only drawn on wall. It happens in your browser — the photo still never leaves your device. If the detection misses something, untick Furniture stays in front to paper the full rectangle.

Can I preview my own artwork instead?

Yes — use “Upload a tile” under the pattern swatches to load any seamless tile. If you’re not sure your tile repeats cleanly, run it through our Seamless Pattern Checker first.

What photo works best?

A straight-on, level shot of the whole wall in even light, saved as JPG, PNG or WEBP. Angled photos still work — the corner handles map perspective — but the flatter the shot, the truer the preview.
